Stella specialises in so-called “One-way” container transport to and from the German industrial heartlands – as well as to the Alsace region of France, Austria and Switzerland. This involves loading containers at the harbours of Rotterdam or Antwerp and unloading them at the destination, where the empty containers are then taken to an inland container terminal. At the terminal, the empty containers are ready for the next customer when they are reloaded and taken on to one of the harbours for forward shipping.

Because of the excellent geographical location with respect to German and Dutch charters, it is absolutely no problem to transport the imports for Friday and transport the early exports for Monday.

In order to provide our customers with the best levels of service, Stella has twelve generator sets (gensets) at its disposal. This makes it possible to transport refrigerated containers which in the periods before and after transportation have to be kept cooled or even heated.
